Key Background
Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) 12th Result 2025 on or before 6th May 2025. The examination was held from 11th February to 11th March 2025, and almost 15,13,909 candidates were registered. The Science stream held the highest concentration of candidates with over 7.6 lakh students, followed by 3.8 lakh students in Arts, 3.1 lakh in Commerce, and 31,000+ students in Vocational and ITI streams.
Even though the official declaration by MSBSHSE is yet to be done, the statements by media and board officials suggest the release of the results on May 6, 2025. The candidates can check their results by logging onto the official website mahresult.nic.in using roll number and first name of mother as given on admit card.
Maharashtra HSC results 2024 were declared on May 21 with a pass rate of 93.37%. The same will be the outcome in 2025, as per which the marks and grades will be declared subject-wise for the students. Students have to keep their admit cards handy for immediate access to results.
Besides internet alert, the students who are offline will also get their results via SMS and Digilocker. Duplicate mark sheets will be sent separately to schools after the result announcement. It’s a day of great historical importance for students, teachers, and parents as it signals the culmination of Class 12 students’ learning year in Maharashtra.
