The Cyberster is an electric roadster with a focus on performance, having already recorded a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.2 seconds during a pilot run at Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan. It has two motors which produce 510 brake horsepower and 725 Newton meters of torque operated by a battery pack of 77 kilowatt-hours that can go for around 500 kilometers per charge. Additionally, it boasts modernistic design comprising striking scissor doors, twenty-inch alloy wheels as well as sporty aerodynamic body.

On the other hand, the M9 is marketed as an exclusive electric minivan designed for comfort and luxury. It offers powered sliding doors, roomy saloon and multiple premium features tailored to passengers who are driven around in their cars. These encompass multizone air conditioning, ventilated seats with a massaging facility, ambient illumination, high-quality sound system with twelve speakers and L2 ADAS ensuring more safety. The car’s motor outputs the power of 240 brake horses along with the torque of 350 Newton metres (M9 uses a battery pack rated at about 90 kWh that grants it an EPA range of around 430 kilometres).

Initially, both cars will be available in thirteen major cities in India such as Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata. While pricing details are still unknown for now competitors must advocate that they will be cost-effective within their respective segments. MG’s introduction of these models highlights its commitment to expanding electric mobility options in India while catering to both performance enthusiasts and luxury-seeking customers.
